Yes I have this phobia. It’s called emetophobia. I’m also very scared of other people being sick as well as myself. I can’t watch it on TV or anything. Also I have had panic attacks when I’m eating out I can be hungry then the food will come and I can’t eat it and I get panicked. I’ve improved on some of these areas through CBT. I’m now fine when eating out. I have domperidone in my handbag all the time and since I had some antibiotics that might have made me nauseous (luckily I didn’t need them in the end) my GP have me a prescription anti emetic which is stronger than the domperidone. Having these tablets around me makes me feel more secure and also lessens my panic which in turn can make me feel nauseous. I’m in therapy for other phobias, anxieties and general depression and am working on it. I had relaxation therapy going back a number of years with the CBT to help with the panic attacks whilst eating out. Hope this helps!
